What is ILOTA?

The Illinois Occupational Therapy Association (ILOTA) is the official representative of the occupational therapy profession in the state of Illinois. ILOTA acknowledges and promotes professional excellence through a proactive, organized collaboration with occupational therapy personnel, the health care community, governmental agencies and consumers.

Members have ongoing networking opportunities through Special Interest Groups, various practice committees, district membership meetings. Communication is facilitated through this website, The Communique, special interest group communications and a list serve.  Members receive an annual Membership Directory; and professional continuing education at discounted rates. Our annual conference in November represents all areas of practice and includes sessions that address changes in health care and service delivery.

Through membership, the association works to safeguard the practice of Occupational Therapy in Illinois.
