ILOTA Launches New Blog - In The Now

My name is Stephanie McCammon and I am an OT working in Chicago.  I have partnered with ILOTA to create and curate a blog called In the Now.  The mission of the blog is to provide an interactive web based communication platform to foster connection among OTs in IL, share information relevant to the OT profession, promote networking opportunities and increase exposure of OT in the larger world.   

In The Now will be a platform to share unique perspectives and encourage discussion on ideas people feel are interesting or important to OT. The blog format allows for a wide range of topics and medium.  You might see a link to an interesting TED talk, an opinion piece on the challenges of work/life balance or a book review.  Anyone is welcome to send submissions to me and I will work to publish quality contributions that are thought provoking and relevant.  

I am hoping that over time the list of contributors can grow and allow us to publish content on a regular basis.
