Legislative Action Alert ILOTA is a member of the Coalition to Protect Telehealth that is requesting Illinois telehealth reform legislation to ensure coverage parity and payment parity of telehealth services with in-person services. On Feb. 22, the Coalition to Protect Telehealth, a group of more than 30 leading health care and patient advocacy organizations, including ILOTA, announced its support for the legislation. New CE Requirement on Sexual Harassment Training The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) issued a notice in November 2019 that one hour of training in sexual harassment will be required for all professional licenses it issues that are renewing on or after January 1, 2020. You can read the IDFPR notice here. And you can view it on our Licensure FAQ page here. ILOTA is currently working on creating a course to fulfill this requirement, similar to the course we now have on ethics training.
