Assistant Professor of Master of Occupational Therapy, North Central College, Naperville, IL

The Department of Kinesiology in the School of Education and Health Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a non-tenure track ongoing, 12 month Assistant Professor position in the Master of Occupational Therapy program beginning September 1, 2018. The successful candidate is responsible for teaching, research, and collaborating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Master of Occupational Therapy Program with primary course assignments in the areas of adult rehabilitation and treatment. Participation in recruitment, retention and admission activities and program committee work, program accreditation, and other tasks as assigned by the Program Director is also expected. Doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, DSc, EdD, DHS, DOT) required; current Illinois licensure or eligibility required; teaching at the collegiate level preferred; experience teaching in an online or blended format preferred; clinical experience in adult rehabilitation is required. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence, mentoring of students, and ongoing scholarship/creative work.
